ABOUT

Reducing Pain and Improving your Mobility

Have you ever imagined living without any pain or being more mobile as you grow older?

That thought crossed my mind daily. That is why I created Minditude. We take a neuro-centric approach that focuses on the brain first so we can find the root cause and provide effective healing.

Hi, I’m Shawn, your personal chronic pain movement specialist, here to help you become pain free through movement and laughter! My goal is to help you understand pain differently through the mind and body connection.

Our goal is to help you regain your mobility, balance and reduce/eliminate any chronic pain.

A little about me:

At an early age, I started playing ice hockey and currently still play adult league hockey. One day, while I was playing hockey, I got my skate stuck in a crack and twisted my ankle.

Like most injuries I had, I thought this was no big deal and my ankle would heal on its own.

2 years later, my ankle still hurt so I finally decided to get it examined. The x-ray showed that my ankle was fractured and it never healed properly. The doctor told me that I would have to deal with the pain as there was no treatment anymore, but the pain could get worse as I got older.

Half a decade later, I became a Z-Health certified trainer. The day I got trained, I went home and began practicing the techniques on my injured ankle. I immediately noticed a huge reduction of ankle pain.

Once I realized I was onto something, I started applying these techniques with my family. I helped my dad improve his frozen shoulder, reduced my mom’s knee and shoulder pain, my wife’s low back pain, and eliminated my mother-in-law’s tinnitus.

Many people have a similar story in which pain has affected them personally or someone they love. Your pain likely has made you less mobile and, in turn, causes more pain because you are unable to move. Let’s end this cycle.

NOW IS THE TIME TO CHANGE!

We will help YOU incorporate low intensity movement exercises into your daily routine.  You will become more mobile and see a reduction in your pain. These movements are so simple and fun, you might be smiling and laughing by the end!

We at Minditude have already started impacting people’s lives at UCLA Health, Atria Park Assisted Living, YMCA, and multiple local community centers.

IT IS OUR GIANT MONSTER GOAL TO HELP OVER 1 MILLION PEOPLE BY 2030 REGAIN THEIR MOBILITY AND BALANCE WHILE REDUCING THEIR CHRONIC PAIN.

Why are we doing this?

Because YOU deserve to live your best life!
